An "angry" chicken ruffled feathers by holding up traffic in Littlehampton.
Police said the "defensive" bird wasn't allowing anyone near it in Cornwall Road on Wednesday evening (26th January).
Officers said they wouldn't be attending the scene and appealed for the owner to retrieve it.
Writing on Twitter, Sussex Police said: "Are you missing a chicken!!
"We've had a report of a defensive chicken on Cornwall Road #Littlehampton.
"If it's yours please go and find it. It's holding up traffic and angry with anyone going near it."
