Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has been rushed to hospital following a "medical emergency" during the most recent episode.
The professional dancer from Caerphilly is currently taking part in the 20th series of the show, making a return to the show after one year away from the show.
Amy had made a return to the programme after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, requiring her to withdraw from the competition.
After a year of treatment, she had been told by a doctor that there was "no sign of the disease", which allowed her to compete in this year's competition with JLS star JB Gill.
However, on Saturday's show (October 26th), an ambulance had been called for Amy after she had finished her performance to "Dancing in the Moonlight".
Dowden was soon taken to hospital after being attended to by paramedics, where she currently remains.
A representative for the star said: "Amy was feeling unwell and so an ambulance was called as a precaution. She is feeling much better and would like to thank the Strictly family for their love and concern. We request Amy's privacy in matters of health is kindly respected."
The East of England Ambulance Service confirmed they had been called to the TV studios where Strictly Come Dancing had been filmed.
The service said in their own statement: "We were called just after 9pm on Saturday to attend a medical emergency at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.
"An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient, an adult female, was taken to Barnet Hospital for further care."
Amy would go on to miss the results show on Sunday (October 27th), due to the incident, with a BBC spokesperson saying: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Amy Dowden was unable to be in tonight's results show."
