Openshaw: 13-year-old girl among victims of horror crash, as man left with life-changing injuries

It has emerged a 13-year-old girl was among six hurt when a car ploughed into a group of people on Bonfire Night in Greater Manchester.
Emergency services rushed to Openshaw on Tuesday night (05 November) following a suspected hit-and-run.
Six people were rushed to hospital from Bob Massey Close, including a man now thought to have suffered life-changing injuries.
Police arrested a 36-year-old driver on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop and possession with intent to supply drugs a short time later.
The man is currently out on bail.
In a fresh appeal for information, Detective Constable Jake Horler-Newsham from Greater Manchester Police said: “Since the incident we are continuing to investigate and would like to appeal to the local community to get in touch if they have any further footage available.
"We know there was a large number of people out that evening watching the fireworks so are keen to obtain more evidence in the form of mobile phone videos, CCTV and doorbell footage to help us with our enquiries."
