Former Coleraine midfielder Patrick Kelly has been called up to the Northern Ireland Senior squad for the first time.

The 21-year-old, currently at League One side Barnsley, has been included by Michael O'Neill for the final two World Cup qualifiers away to Slovakia on November 14th and home to Luxembourg on November 17th.

Kelly, who has been a regular feature for Tommy Wright's Under-21s, comes in to the panel with both Shea Charles and Ali McCann missing out due to injury. Ethan Galbraith is included, though he will be suspended for the Slovakia tie.

Brodie Spencer is also injured and isn't included.

Elsewhere, there's a recall for Kilmarnock midfielder Brad Lyons, while Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Pierce Charles hasn't recoved from a shoulder injury in time to be included.
