European swimming championships: Wiffen bags third medal
The Magheralin swimmer has won two bronze medals and a stunning gold
Co Armagh swimmer Daniel Wiffen has bagged his third medal at the European Short Course championships in Poland.
Competing for Team Ireland, the 24-year-old star had already won a golf medal and another bronze in the tournament.
Wiffen pipped his German opponent Johannes Liebmann by 0.13 seconds to get on the podium.
These were the first races the Olympic Gold medal winner had competed in since undergoing surgery in September following a bout of appendicitis.
