Linfield's Carroll looking for more trophies with Blues
Keeper hoping Linfield can kick on after their title win
Roy Carroll has challenged his Linfield team-mates to achieve even greater success.
The veteran Blues stopper says winning the Danske Bank Premiership title should be the springboard for further trophy wins.
David Healy’s side picked up the Gibson Cup on Saturday after their 3-1 win over Cliftonville on the final day of the league race.
In February, they won the Co Antrim Shield after beating Crusaders 3-1.
Carroll is hoping they can now go on and complete a treble by winning the Irish Cup on Saturday.
They face Coleraine at Windsor.
He said: “Coming into the season everybody thought we weren’t going to get anything and we won the Co Antrim Shield and we won the league.
“Hopefully we will go out and have a good game against Coleraine because we know how good they are.”
