Irish Premiership: Portadown part company with Paul Doolin
Paul Doolin has left Portadown - just six months after taking over the managerial reins on a permanent basis.
He has parted company by mutual consent with the side languishing at the foot of the Irish Premiership table with just a single point from 11 games.
Portadown confirmed their former player's departure on the club website.
And in a statement Doolin said: “I wish to place on record my sincere thanks to the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Directors, Back room staff, the General Manager & all connected with the club for their help & assistance during my time at club & I’m grateful for the opportunity to manage one of my former clubs. I wish the club all the best and hope they go on to achieve every success.”
