Ireland storm past France in thrilling Six Nations Dublin duel
Ireland ended defending champions' France's 14-game unbeaten run in the Six Nations after an absorbing Dublin meeting in the Six Nations Championship.
A Garry Ringrose try secured Ireland's victory on Saturday afternoon in the Aviva Stadium.
The bonus-point success was a huge boost to Ireland's own hopes in the competition. Three first-half tries laid the foundations for the Irish with Hugo Keenan, James Lowe and Andrew Porter all crossing the white line.
France kept within striking distance care of a wonderful Damian Penaud counter-attacking try, and three Thomas Ramos penalties kept Ireland on their toes.
However Ringrose's try was enough to bring relief to the home crowd.
