Holders Linfield to face Larne in Bet McLean Cup last eight

Holders Linfield will take on Larne in the last eight of the Bet McLean Cup next month.

The clash at Inver Park is the pick of the ties from the draw made earlier on Wednesday, with the winners of that match away to whoever wins between Dungannon Swifts and Newry City AFC in the semi-final.

The other quarter-final clashes pit Championship side Portadown, conquerors of the Premiership's Crusaders in the last 16, with the victors of Annagh United or Loughgall. The clash between Annagh and Premiership surprise package Loughgall was called off as Annagh's ground recovers from the recent flooding in the area.

While Coleraine, who got past local rivals Ballymena United in a mammoth penalty shoot-out that ended 18-17 to the Bannsiders, at home to either Limavady United or Glenavon. That match was postponed on Tuesday due a floodlight failure at the Limavady Showgrounds.

The quarter-final matches are scheduled for Tuesday December 5th, while the last four ties will be played on ether January 16th or 17th next year.
