Giants' Storm warning in bid for title
Belfast side keep season on track thanks to 5-star win over Manchester
It was a mixed weekend for the Belfast Giants in their pursuit of an Elite League title.
They lost 4-1 to Sheffield Steelers on Saturday night but then bounced back yesterday evening by beating Manchester Storm 5-2.
A double from David Rutherford and Dustin Johner as well as another from Blair Riley gave the Giants an important home win.
The Giants remain second in the standings, two points behind the Cardiff Devils who have played one game less.
Next up for the Belfast side is a home game against the Glasgow Clan on Friday before facing the Guildford Flames on Sunday in the Challenge Cup Final in Cardiff.
