Giants keep title race five-alive
Adam Keefe's side hammer Steelers 5-1
The Belfast Giants kept their Elite League title hopes alive after a 5-1 win over Sheffield Steelers yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
Pat Dwyer, Jordan Smotherman (pictured), Kyle Baun, Colin Shields and Blair Riley (below) were all among the goals.
Victory means Adam Keefe’s side will take the title race into the final week of the regular season.
The Cardiff Devils are still in pole position – four points ahead with two games left.
Neither side can afford any slip-ups.
The Giants now face the Fife Flyers on Friday before the Dundee Stars the following day.
