The Belfast Giants handed the Cardiff Devils their second consecutive Elite league title after losing 3-2 to their close rivals at home last night.
In a thrilling game, the visitors scored late on to win the game and the title.
Last month, Adam Keefe’s side denied the Devils’ a trophy double when they beat them in the Challenge Cup final.
Colin Shields opened the scoring for the home side but two counter strikes put the Devils out in front before a Spiro Goulakos equaliser.
Then, with just seconds to go, Andrew Hotham struck to give the Devils a title-clinching goal.
The Giants return to league action again on Saturday against the Fife Flyers. Face-off 7pm
