Evans seals Leicester deal and McNair close to Brighton move
NI players set to line up in next year's Premier League
Jonny Evans has finally joined Leicester - in a £3.5m deal.
The Northern Ireland defender passed a medical at the club yesterday and is expected to be unveiled tonight.
Evans has been a long-time target of the Foxes.
They had a £23m bid turned down by West Brom in the January transfer window but when the Baggies were relegated Leicester triggered a clause in his contract.
Evans is believed to have put pen to paper on a three-year contract.
Meanwhile, international team-mate Paddy McNair could be joining him in next season’s Premier League.
The Sunderland midfielder’s believed to be close to joining Brighton in a deal worth £7m.
And another NI player is on the move.
Liam Donnelly has left Hartlepool to join Stephen Robinson’s Motherwell.
