The Belfast Giants have enjoyed a four-point winning weekend on the road in the Elite League.

After winning 4-0 away to the Sheffield Steelers on Saturday night - last night (Sunday) they beat Manchester Storm 4-1.

That means they stay top - with 75 points - five ahead of the Guildford Flames.

Goals from David Gilbert, Mark Cooper, Henrik Eriksson andplayer-of-the match Josh Roach sealed a vital win - leaving Adam Keefe's side on course to retaining their title.

Special mention must also be given to Tyler Beskorowany who made no fewer than 29 saves.

A total of six games remain in the league campaign.

Next up for the Giants a weekend home double-header action against old rivals, the Cardiff Devils, on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of March.
