Ireland have a proverbial mountain to climb – if they are to win their one-day international series against Afghanistan in Belfast.

Fast bowler Tim Murtagh took four wickets but could not prevent Graham Ford’s side losing their opener yesterday by 29 runs.

They will resume tomorrow at Stormont for their second game followed by the final one on Friday.
