Danske Bank Irish Premiership: Larne go marching on at top of table

Larne have gone six points clear at the top of the Irish Premiership table.

Last night they beat Ballymena United 3-0 at the Showgrounds in their game in hand over nearest rivals Cliftonville.

Lee Bonis (pictured immediately above) gave the visitors the perfect start when he opened the scoring - and then just after the re-start Larne doubled their lead thanks to an own goal.

Andy Ryan (main pic) wrapped up the points with just under 20 minutes left on the clock.

Next up for Larne is a trip to Carrick on Saturday.
