Crusaders FC: members vote to accept 'substantial' investment offer from group including Ian Rush
Members of Crusaders FC voted last night (Thursday) to accept an investment offer that could reach ÂŁ2.5m.
It is understood the consortium behind the proposal includes Liverpool legend Ian Rush.
In a statement on social media, Crusaders said members had voted 236 for and 36 against to accept the proposal which it said represented a "substantial investment" in the club.
"The club will now instruct solicitors. It is hoped the transaction will be complete by May 2022," the statement added
