Blues chasing Crues after away win
Linfield close gap at the top to four points
Linfield are now closing in on Crusaders at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership.
That’s after the Blues beat Ballinamallard 2-1 in Fermanagh and the Crues lost 1-0 away to Coleraine.
The gap at the top has now been cut to just four points.
Aaron Burns and Stephen Lowry got the goals for Linfield while an Eoin Bradley penalty was enough to send the Showgrounds support home happy.
Elsewhere, Cliftonville got back to winning ways, beating Ballymena 2-1 with Jay Donnelly grabbing a double.
Ards beat Glenavon 1-0 thanks to Michael Ruddy goal while bottom side Portadown lost again – this time to mid-ulster rivals Dungannon Swifts.
