The BetMcLean League Cup reaches the second round tonight – with 16 games taking place.

Champions, Ballymena begin their defence of the title with a home tie against Championship side, Knockbreda.

David Jeffrey's men will be looking to bounce back quickly after a disappointing start to their Danske Bank Premiership season

Linfield are up against Lisburn Distillery who have Matthew Ferguson, son of Blues legend Glenn (‘Spike’) playing up front.

Crusaders entertain Dundela while Cliftonville face Banbridge Town and Glenavon take on Donegal Celtic at Mourneview.

Meanwhile, high-flying Coleraine are at home to Larne, with Dungannon Swifts away to Newry.

Ards play Queens, Ballinamallard are at home to Tobermore and Glentoran travel to Lakeview Park to meet Loughgall.
