Aimee Fuller’s Winter Olympic dream lies in tatters today.
The 26-year-old from Bangor crashed for the second time in just a week – ending any hope of a medal.
Fuller had been bidding to reach the final of the Big Air event but slipped out of contention overnight after falling badly in both of her qualification rounds.
She sustained bruises and cuts to her face but the injuries could have been more serious after she nearly fell on her head in the second round of qualifying.
Last week, chasing a medal in the slopestyle event, she was blown off course in windy conditions – eventually finishing 17th place.
