A Giants step in race for title
Adam Keefe's side beat leaders Cardiff Devils 4-2
The Belfast Giants kept their Elite League title hopes very much alive last night after pulling off a stunning 4-2 win over big rivals, the Cardiff Devils.
It was first blood to Adam Keefe’s side in a weekend potentially title-deciding double header.
The result leaves them just a point behind the Devils, who are the current league champions, at the top of the table.
Another win at the SSE tonight and the Giants will be in pole position in the race for the title.
Darcy Murphy, Jordan Smotherman, Dustin Johner and captain, Blair Riley grabbed the goals for the home side.
Face-off tonight 7 o’clock.
