The MMA star has been out of the sport for close to a year
Conor McGregor appears to have announced his highly anticipated return to mixed martial arts.
He's posted a cryptic tweet saying "Dublin, December 14th", which may be suggesting a date for his return to the cage.
If McGregor gets his wish, it will be his first MMA fight in his home country since he defeated Diego Brandao in July 2014.
The tweet came less than 24 hours after UFC Vancouver's Justin Gaethje said he 'would love to fight' McGregor following his KO win over Donald Cerrone
The Irishman has not fought since his high profile defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov last October, where he lost his UFC lightweight title.
