About Caroline Fleck
Caroline first caught the radio bug at the age of 16 and she hasn’t looked back since.
“From the moment that mic was on I was hooked. Life took a slightly different turn when I went to Uni, I studied nursing, but the bug of the airwaves never left me.
“I started out as a broadcast journalist and duty news editor and never planned to be a presenter until I was asked to anchor a magazine type show for a while until they found someone more permanent, they didn’t find get that person and I have never looked back.”
With Elvis, The Beatles, Stones and The Cash as musical influences, Caroline was influenced by Fleetwood Mac, U2, Def Leppard, Oasis and Blur growing up.
“The one constant that has been with me throughout the decades is Stevie Nicks - an ethereal rock goddess who lives her truth, spilled her heart out into her lyrics and had a good time doing it.”
A busy mum of two, Caroline balances life on the north coast with The States. “Living up North, we are surrounded by so much natural beauty so camping, walking, and exploring are usually on the agenda. Believe it or not, I do like to rough it…it’s not all glam in this job!!”
“I am a Chartered CIM Marketer and when I’m not on air I’m working in the music industry with local and national artists, alongside developing software/marketing technology. I am a bit of a geek secretly LOL”
Do you have any pets?
2-year-old Golden Retriever called Willa
Do you play any instruments?
I so want to play guitar and my dad was a guitarist, but I could never get past the sore fingers stage lol
What is your death row meal?
Anything Italian, I was in Italy recently and boy, they don’t do food like the Italians do food.
