It looks like this burst of sunshine and warm weather in Northern Ireland is set to last right through next weekend. That's music to our ears on a bank holiday weekend!
High pressure is likely to dominate through the end of August and the start of September, resulting in fine and settled weather across NI.
According to the Met Office forecast Wednesday's low cloud around the coast in the morning will soon burning off to leave a dry, bright and sunny day. It's expected to feeling very warm across most parts of the province with the light winds. Reaching a maximum temperature 24 °C, that will do nicely.
The outlook for Thursday to Saturday looks much the same, with temperatures expected to reach between 21 and 24°C most days .
It will be a cloudy and misty start to Thursday will drift to sunshine and warm temperatures. Friday will stay bright and sunny, with cooler conditions spreading west in the afternoon.
Early predictions suggest that this warmer spell will continue into the weekend, with mostly dry and sunny weather.

The Gobbins, Antrim
One of Northern Ireland's most exhilarating tourist attractions is now open for another busy season. The Gobbins is a spectacular coastal walk situated along the Causeway Coastal Route, weaving its way along the basalt cliffs. The two and a half hour guided tour brings you on a journey to discover the area's history whilst your feet grip onto the rugged coastline as you taste the sea air.
Cranfield Alpacas, Newcastle
Nestled amongst the iconic Mourne Mountains, you'll find this funky Alpaca farm. You can take them for a walk/ trek, and even feed them lunch. Pickie Park, Bangor
Pickie Pool is part of a rich history of Bangor town centre, it was the place where children from all over Bangor and Belfast first learnt to swim. The Captain's Challenge is a flatter course, specifically designed to assist wheelchair users as it has lower curbs between holes. This also makes it easier for parents to push a buggy around.
