Northern Ireland is set for its first taste of spring this week, forecasters say.

We can expect a few days of above-average temperatures with "bright or sunny spells".

"The mercury may rise up to 17C around the coast and 18C inland on Monday and Tuesday."

According to the Met Office these conditions will continue until Thursday and then it starts to turn a little bit cooler in the north west.

Unfortunately the warm weather is set to dissipate towards the end of the week, with cooler but settled conditions forecast for the first half of Easter weekend.
