Temperatures are beginning to rise across Northern Ireland as we head towards the first weekend of August and the arrival of the 'Spanish plume'.
The Met Office is expecting high pressure to build from the south towards the end of the week and into the weekend, leading to dry and more settled conditions.
Saturday and Sunday will see a good deal of dry weather, with sunny spells and light winds. Temperatures will be above the seasonal average for many.
Last weekend Belfast was hit with one month's worth of rainfall in just one hour. The Met Office said 88.2mm of rain was recorded at Aldergrove Airport.

Wednesday - Rain through the afternoon, a damp humid evening. Highs of 18C.
Thursday - Changeable and humid with occasional light rain, misty on coasts and hills. Highs of 19C.
Friday - Staying mainly dry for most, cloudy. Highs of 22C.
Saturday - Cloudy with some sunny spells. Highs of 22C.
Sunday - Cloudy with some sunny spells. Highs of 22C.
Meanwhile holidaymakers are being warned that temperatures in southern Europe could be record breakers - possibly in the high forties.
Forecasters are advising holidaymakers in Spain, Portugal and southwest France to prepare for extreme heat by staying inside during the hottest parts of the day and keeping hydrated.
Spain and Portugal's record high is 47.3C, but this "could well be beaten", according to forecasters.
"Southwest France could see temperatures locally top 40C and 48C is possible across inland parts of Portugal and valleys of southern Spain."
