'Beast from the East' set to return for St.Patrick's Day weekend?

Freezing weather conditions dubbed the 'Beast from the East' brought chaos to many parts of Northern Ireland last month, with snow and sub-zero temperatures causing widespread disruption.
Hundreds of schools were closed and transport halted, as up to two feet of snow fell in parts of Armagh and Down. We may need to brace ourselves for another flurry later this week, according to some forecasters.
The latest weather models suggest we could be in for a dry and cold St.Patrick's weekend, with the chance of isolated snow showers.
The Met Office seven day forecast;
"Over the weekend slightly more settled conditions may develop across the whole country. In the north and east, some snow showers are possible. It may become cold for most, with frosts possible. It will be drier, although further wintry showers are likely."
