Man "serious but stable" in hospital following South Belfast attack

A man is in a stable but serious condition following reports of an assault in South Belfast on Saturday May 28.
It happened in the Dublin Road area at around 9.45pm.
Police say following the altercation the man fell and sustained a head injury.
Inspector Brown said: “Colleagues from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service also attended the scene, and the male was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable but serious condition at this time.
“Enquiries into this incident are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed it, or who may have any information which could assist, to call 101 and quote reference number 2018 of 28/05/22.”
