Two men shot in Londonderry
Victims shot in legs in paramilitary style attack
Two men have been shot in the legs by a masked gang in Londonderry.
The incidents happened near to each other in the Ballymagroarty area of the city around eight on Friday night.
Sinn Fein councillor Eric McGinley said;
"This is a shocking incident.
"Sadly, there have been a number of similar attacks in the area over the past twelve months.
"There can be no place for the use of guns or gangs of masked men on the streets of our city.
“All of this is in stark contrast to the good work that is going on in this community."
He added: "I would call on anyone with information on this shooting incident to bring it forward to the PSNI."
