Tributes have been paid to 17 year old Lauren Bullock, who died after a crush at a disco in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.

Two boys aged 16 and 17 also died after the incident outside the Greenvale Hotel on Sunday night.

They were attending a St Patrick's night disco around 9.30 last night (Sunday) when they were caught up in a suspected crushing incident.

Lauren Bullock was a pupil at St Patricks College in Dungannon.

In a post of Facebook, Euphoria Allstar Cheerleading NI said: "Euphoria are absolutley devastated to say we lost one of our senior athletes Lauren Bullock in the tragedy in Cookstown last night 😭💜

"My heart is broke writing this. You where the most down to earth, beautiful soul and our Coral team will never be the same without you. You where an incredible cheerleader and where the back bone of our team. 💗

"I honestly cant put into words how much you will be missed. Thank you lauren for giving me the pleasure of coaching you all this time. 💞

"We love you lauren, your now shining over us all. We will never forget you. The brightest Purple star in the sky 💜

St Patricks Academy and College are open today and tomorrow for anyone who has been affected and needs support and counselling.

PSNI Assistance Chief Constable Mark Hamilton said earlier: “I can confirm that a third teenager has now sadly died from injuries sustained during an incident at the Greenvale Hotel in Cookstown last night.

"The three teenagers who died are a 17-year-old girl, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy. A 16-year-old girl is in a stable condition in hospital. A further two teenagers were treated for injuries they received during the incident.

"First and foremost my thoughts this morning are very much with the families of the three young people who passed away and those who were injured. It is heart-breaking that an event which should have been fun for these youngsters on St Patrick’s night should end in such a terrible tragedy."
