Traffic disruption expected in Belfast as sales begin and city football rivals meet
Motorists in Belfast are being advised of potential delays on Boxing Day in the south of the city.
It comes as Linfield meet derby rivals Glentoran from 3 o'clock at Windsor Park in football's Irish Premiership
Many bargain-hunters are also expected to begin attending the Boxing Day sales.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "A build-up of traffic is to be expected in the M1, Donegall Road, and particularly the Boucher Road areas both before and after the game.
"We would ask that those driving to the match park with consideration for local residents and businesses, and that supporters are respectful and considerate whilst walking through residential streets convenient to the stadium."
Supporters and shoppers are advised to plan their journey in advance by police.
