'Terrorist-related articles' found at Co Antrim security alert
A security alert in Co Antrim has ended with an object being removed along with terrorist related articles.
Detective Inspector Lowans from PSNI Serious Crime Branch said: “Police were made aware of a suspicious object at Budore Road at around 5.30pm on Sunday, and an operation was immediately put in place to locate the object.
"A number of roads were closed overnight to ensure the safety of the public whilst our enquiries were carried out.
"ATO were tasked to the scene today and examined the object which has now been removed along with suspected terrorist related articles which were discovered nearby for further examination.”
