Police are investigating the report of a robbery in Belfast.

It happened shortly after half past 10 last night at commercial premises on the Upper Newtownards road.

A man, who's described as around 5 feet 11, of slim build and with a grey hooded top demanded money from a member of staff.

As the staff member made his way to the till area, he was struck on the face with a glass bottle - although the bottle didn't break and the staff member was uninjured.
