Seriously ill Billy now facing US homeless battle
Tyrone boy and mum having to give up house as medical bill mount
A little Co Tyrone boy receiving specialist medical treatment in Los Angles is facing homelessness.
Billy Caldwell has a severe form of epilepsy and his family has raised thousands of pounds for his medical care.
However, the rising costs have forced his mum to give up their accommodation in the US
Billy’s mum, Charlotte, posted on Facebook that after an unforeseen hospitalisation and rising medical costs they have been left with no funds for accommodation.
A fundraising effort secured enough money to pay part of these costs but the family says the situation is now critical
Charlotte says she took the horrendous decision after much thought and her priority is keeping Billy alive.
She told followers on her page that she has a bought a tent, camping cooker and sleeping bags to equip themselves for the unthinkable.
The family has asked for prayer as they embark on what they say is going to be their toughest journey yet.
