Ballycastle has been chosen as the venue for the spectacular Red Bull Cliff Diving event for 2024, with thousands expected to visit the picturesque Causeway Coast.

The world-renowned diving event showcases 12 men and 12 women displaying aesthetic freefalls off a 27m board into the choppy open water below.

A new location for the series 2024 calendar, the world's best divers will compete on the rugged landscape of the Causeway Coast.

📍 Saturday 20th July

Since 2009, the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series has been the ultimate test of sporting skill and aerobatic artistry, as divers launch from a platform up to 27m high from rocks, gorges, cliff faces and even historic bridges.

The event will feature three different take-off spots for the divers, which includes TWO super-challenging off-the-cliff rounds!

In both the men's and women’s competitions, the ultimate prize at the season's close is the coveted King Kahekili trophy.

According to the Red Bull website, the women's final will take place at 17:35 BST and the men's final 18:20 BST on Saturday 20th July 2024.
