PSNI: man charged with attempted murder of two officers

A 22 year old man is to appear in court today (Friday) charged with the attempted murder of two PSNI officers in Belfast.
Police said one of the officers suffered a serious stab wound to his neck while the other sustained a cut to his face.
The PSNI added that the charges related to an incident during which two police officers were attacked with a knife at an address on Ormeau Road in Belfast on Wednesday.
The defendant is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court later today.
