A man has been left shaken after being assaulted in Belfast.

The burglary happened last night in the Donegall Pass area.

A police spokesperson said: "We received a report that a man was assaulted and his house burgled shortly before 8.00 in the Donegall Pass area by three people wearing gloves and masks.

"They threatened the occupant of the house and made off with a phone and a wallet. Thankfully the man was not left physically injured but shaken."

Officers are appealing for information.
