PSNI: Damage to war mural a 'hate crime'

The John Henry Patterson mural was damaged at the junction of Beverly Street and Northumberland Street in the early hours of Friday morning.

Inspector Murphy said police want to hear from witnesses.

"The incident is being treated as a hate crime and police would like to hear from anyone with information or anyone who was in the area and noticed anything or anyone suspicious.
