Police seize drugs worth £75,000 in Belfast

Police have seized class B controlled drugs with an estimated street value of £75,000 in the south Belfast area.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "The 41-year-old (Man) was arrested in the Botanic area this morning, Wednesday 31st July, during a joint operation with UK Border Force.

"He has been charged with a number of drugs-related offences including two counts of attempted possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, and possession of a Class B controlled drug."

The man is due before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Thursday morning
