Police given extra time to question man over Strabane explosion
Detectives investigating the attempted murder of police officers in Strabane have been granted extra time to question a 20-year-old man.
The man was arrested on Friday in Newtownstewart.
It comes after a bomb exploded in the Townsend Street area of the town on Tuesday night while officers were on patrol.
A 31-year-old man was also arrested in Strabane on Saturday and is being questioned at Musgrave Serious Crime Suite.
