In Pictures: The Prince & Princess of Wales Royal Visit

Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton visited Northern Ireland, stopping in Belfast and Carrickfergus to meet cross-community organisations.
The first visit of the day was to PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland (PIPS Charity) on Antrim Road.
Their Royal Highnesses spoke with charity staff and counsellors about the life-saving work they provides and how the organisation has worked to remove all possible barriers to support those experiencing suicidal thoughts.
Next stop was to trendy food/retail spot Trademarket on Dublin Road. As well as meeting with vendors, Their Royal Highnesses heard from local entrepreneur, Will Neill, about his inspiration for the project and meet representatives from Kainos, a local software company, supporting the business venture.
The Royal couple stepped behind the bar to try their hands at mixology, creating a bespoke cocktail and even taking a sip.
The final stop on their whistle-stop tour was Carrickfergus, to visit Carrick Connect, a youth charity which offers support services to local young people experiencing social or emotional difficulties.
As thousands started to line the streets beside ancient Carrickfergus Castle, Their Highnesses meet school children and members of the local community.
