Petrol bomb thrown at house in Holywood

Officers attended along with the NIFRS who extinguished the fire.

No damage was caused to the property and there were no reports of any injuries.

A petrol bomb has been thrown at a house in County Down in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

The PSNI has said at around 12.30am a petrol bomb was thrown at a house in Holywood in the East Link area and had struck a lamp post.

Officers attended along with the NIFRS who extinguished the fire.

No damage was caused to the property and there were no reports of any injuries.
