Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle in County Londonderry

A 66-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle in County Londonderry.

It happened on Moneymore's Cookstown Road, at around 07:30 BST on Friday.

Police officers and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) attended the scene, but the man died at the scene.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
