Omagh house fire victim named

The PSNI launched a probe after dashcam footage of the incident was circulated on social media

A man who died in an Omagh house fire on Wednesday has been named.

He was 52-year old Andrew Halliday.

The blaze broke out in the Edinburgh Park area on Wednesday, 18 January at around 6AM.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined - the PSNI say it will be subject to an investigation in liaison with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
