NI Election 2022: Doug Beattie elected in Upper Bann

Ulster Unionist Party leader Doug Beattie has been re-elected in Upper Bann.

Earlier in the count process it was looking like his position could be in jeopardy.

However, on Day 2 he secured the fourth seat in the constituency.

Meanwhile, DUP veteran Mervyn Storey lost his seat in North Antrim.

Mr Storey had held the seat for 19 years and twice served as a minister in the Executive.

Patricia O'Lynn from the Alliance Party took the final seat in the constituency
