A man in his 50's has died following a road traffic collision on the Quarterland Road in Dundrod on Sunday night.

The man was driving a blue Yamaha motorcycle that was involved in the collision shortly before 7.15pm.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

It's the second serious crash involving a motorcycle - after a 28 year old man sustained life changing injuries when his motorcycle struck a tree on the Tobermore Road on Sunday afternoon at around 3.30pm.

At this time it's believed that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.
