Carl Frampton vowed today to win the biggest fight of his life.

The Jackal was in confident mood when we caught up with earlier as the 48-hour countdown began to his rematch with Leo Santa Cruz.

"I think that this fight like the last one will not be too much different," he said.

"Leo is a tremendous fighter who I have the utmost respect for.

"Both of us will do whatever it takes to win this fight but the way things have been going in this training camp I am extremely confident of getting the win."

Frampton paid tribute again to the thousands of fans who follow him wherever he fights.

And he believes they will see him through yet again.

"The travelling support that I have is absolutely fantastic - a real credit to everyone from Belfast the UK and Ireland - I am hoping to send them home very very happy."
