Met Office issues 65mph wind warning for Northern Ireland

It's going to turn very windy later.

Batten down the hatches, there's wind and rain on the way.

The Met Office say; "It will become very windy through this afternoon. Gusts of 50-60 mph are expected widely with isolated gusts of 65 mph in the north of Northern Ireland and in exposed coastal areas, 70-75 mph gusts are likely in the Western Isles."

Disruption is possible to road, air and ferry transport, whilst localised power interruptions are possible.

The warning is valid from 11:00am lasting through to teatime Monday.
