Man charged over Antrim stabbing

A 27-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing in Antrim on Saturday morning.

He is facing charges of attempted murder, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

The man will appear at Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.

Two women, aged 31 and 19 have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The victim was stabbed at a house in Rathmore Gardens on Saturday morning and is in a stable condition at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
