Man attacked by 'eight men with bars and bats' in Coleraine
A man has been attacked by a group of around eight men armed with bats and bars in Coleraine.
The 28-year-old was set upon by the group in the Heights area at around 2am on Sunday.
A 30 year old man was subsequently arrested and questioned but has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this crime or anyone with information that could assist the investigation.
